Velis to educate attendees on “7 ways to kill a MedTech Company”

Chris Velis, Chairman & CEO of MedCap Advisors, LLC in Cambridge, MA is speaking at the 2013 MPO Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 5.  Velis, a keynote speaker, will discuss roadblocks and opportunities along the avenues to innovation in the medical technology market.

Velis’ presentation, “7 Ways to Kill a MedTech Company,” addresses factors that influence success or failure in the medical device industry.  Some of these include the current state of venture capital markets, FDA processes, and medical device growth outside of the U.S.

“The MPO Summit gives me the chance to speak directly with the people most closely connected to these issues,” said Mr. Velis.  “This audience knows this is a challenging time, and I look forward to discussing avenues to success in a format that will give them real, actionable direction.”

Calling on his 20 years of experience, Velis will explore the challenges that leaders in the industry face as a whole and solutions they can put into play.  He will provide examples from one of the industry’s “greatest disasters” and educate the audience on how a wrong decision can cost millions of dollars.

Chris Velis’ presentation begins at 9:15am.  For more information please visit: http://mposummit.com/?page_id=7
