Dr. Sundram has been involved for greater than 5 years in developing medical device and drug companies in various fields ranging from pain management to vascular disease. He currently has two awarded patents, and 8 pending patents, all of which have been licensed to startups or major corporations in the drug and device industry. He is the CMO and cofounder of Ferro Health, a revolutionary company built from technology developed at MIT, that utilizes novel piezomaterials for the therapeutic delivery of electrical energy in the human body. He also serves on the scientific advisory board of Acumen, a catheter company involved in the placement of Biventricular Pacemakers, by helping to build their clinician network and broaden their product strategy. Prior to completion of his medical training, Dr. Sundram was cofounder and VP of Business Development at ChemTracker, a leading software and services provider for the Environmental Health and Safety industry, spun out of Stanford University. He was intimately involved in raising 2 million dollars in venture capital funds, and helped execute both short and long term business strategy.
